About Us

Our collection of unique holiday homes provides a chance to escape and explore, creating memories along the way

We (Andrew and Sarah) met almost 20 years ago and within a few months of meeting, had purchased and moved into The Red House in Chester city centre (it looked a bit different back then).

Arguably situated on one of the most sought after cobbled streets within the Roman city and enveloped by other listed buildings bursting with character and history, we enjoyed 7 happy years within the warehouse before taking the plunge to move. Fast forward a few years, and an opportunity arose for us to try our hand at running The Red House as a holiday let and we have never looked back.

We only ever dreamt of owning a house on the beach.

In 2017, we welcomed Ianto into our family and alongside this life changing event we decided to pursue our grand dream of buying a house by the sea in North Wales.

We stumbled across Ty Deryn Y Mor, whilst scouring online sites and to our delight also discovered it was a holiday let! Knowing how quick the market was moving at the time, we booked Ty Deryn Y Mor for 2 weeks holiday and within that time, had fallen madly deeply in love with it and bought it! Fast forward to late 2018, and we were the proud owners of Ty Deryn Y Mor and the adjoining Annexe.

At the time both houses were in need of renovation and huge improvements, with our first priority being to repaint the entire property as it was bright blue! We were able to welcome guests into Ty Deryn Y Mor from early 2019 and have fitted in many improvements since then.

The Annexe took longer than anticipated as we decided to have another baby, and welcomed Iolo to our family in 2020 amidst the Covid pandemic. After a fair few delays for obvious reasons, the full renovation and garage conversion was completed in 2022. After living in The Annexe for over a year, we then moved on, opening up our home for others to enjoy.

For over a decade we've been welcoming guests to our holiday homes and we've loved every minute.

Frogg Cottage in Rhuddlan, North Wales became our fourth home to be added to our collection in 2021

After a cosmetic overhaul internally and renovation of the beautiful suntrap garden overlooking the famous and quite stunning 13th century castle, we were up and running within 4 months.

Our approach when designing and managing the holiday homes is quite simple: your holiday is precious time away with loved ones and you should have all the home comforts you need, and then some. The beds need to be comfier than yours at home, it should be spotlessly clean and the towels need to be fluffy.

Add into the mix a bit of the WOW factor, whether that's amazing sunsets, shooting stars or Romans walking past the house and we feel we have all the ingredients for a magical stay with us.
